2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You are not located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency exchange is prohibited.
- You are not using our services on behalf of a sanctioned individual or entity.
- The funds you are exchanging are from legitimate sources and are not proceeds of illegal activity.
3. Our Services
LareMay Exchange provides the following services:
- Crypto to Fiat (Offramp): Converting cryptocurrencies (e.g., BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH) into local fiat currency (e.g., Nigerian Naira).
- Fiat to Crypto (Onramp): Converting local fiat currency into cryptocurrency and transferring it to your wallet.
- Business Payments: Facilitating crypto-based payments for businesses, freelancers, and remote workers.
All transactions are conducted directly between you and LareMay Exchange. We do not operate as a P2P marketplace.
4. Transaction Process & Rates
4.1 Rate Agreement: All exchange rates are agreed upon before any transaction is initiated. The rate quoted to you at the time of agreement is the rate that will be applied to your transaction.
4.2 No Hidden Fees: We do not charge hidden fees or percentages beyond the agreed rate. What you see is what you get.
4.3 Rate Validity: Quoted rates are valid only for the agreed time window stated at the time of quotation. Cryptocurrency prices fluctuate; if you delay beyond the agreed window, a new rate may be required.
4.4 Transaction Confirmation: A transaction is only considered initiated once you have explicitly confirmed the rate and sent payment as instructed. We are not responsible for transactions initiated without prior rate confirmation.
4.5 Settlement Time: We aim to settle all transactions promptly. Settlement times may vary depending on network conditions, bank processing times, or verification requirements.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate wallet addresses, account numbers, and personal information. We are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect details provided by you.
- Only initiate transactions for amounts you intend to exchange and have available.
- Not use our services for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal purpose.
- Not attempt to reverse, charge back, or dispute legitimate completed transactions.
- Communicate honestly and in good faith at all times.
- Keep your transaction details and communication records for your own records.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited when using our services:
- Money laundering or financing of terrorism
- Providing false identity or impersonating another person
- Using funds derived from illegal activities
- Attempting to defraud, scam, or deceive LareMay Exchange or other users
- Attempting to reverse transactions after services have been rendered
- Using our platform in violation of any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service to any user engaging in prohibited activities without prior notice, and to report such activities to relevant authorities where required by law.
7. Verification & Compliance
We reserve the right to request identity verification (KYC) for any transaction, particularly large-volume exchanges. This may include requesting a government-issued ID, proof of address, or source of funds documentation. We may delay or decline a transaction until satisfactory verification is provided.
We comply with applicable Nigerian and African regulatory frameworks regarding cryptocurrency transactions and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 LareMay Exchange shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
8.2 We are not responsible for losses caused by: incorrect wallet addresses or account details provided by you; delays caused by blockchain network congestion; delays caused by bank processing times outside our control; market price fluctuations occurring after a rate has been agreed and confirmed.
8.3 Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a transaction shall not exceed the value of that specific transaction.
8.4 We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of our services and shall not be liable for any temporary unavailability.
9. Dispute Resolution

9.3 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and materials, including the LareMay Exchange™ name, logo, brand identity, and copy, are the intellectual property of LareMay Exchange. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our brand assets without prior written permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
